The current SVAC Board will be treating everyone to a yummy cake, so please do not bring desserts for the Pot Luck dinner.  Join us for a wonderful celebration of SVAC’s past year — you won’t believe everything we’ve done!!!

Don’t forget to bring something to the meetings for the Food Bank, and a flashlight to find your car after dark!

Date: Thursday, September 16, 2010

Location: Keep Sedona Beautiful

360 Brewer Road

Time: 6 pm Pot Luck Dinner, 7 pm Meeting and Program

It’s still in the planning stages, but the September program will be a Members’ Show and Tell. Six members will present one piece of art work and tell us about their work for five minutes. You must sign up in advance. Contact Jerry Buley jerry.buley@esedona.net to sign up. This is also the deadline for entries for the Pathways Fall Showso if you haven’t sent in your check and entry by then, bring it to the meeting where you can sign up to sit the gallery and for the committee you’d like to serve.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Many thanks to SVAC member Melanie Harth who is retiring from doing our weekly FYI.  And many, many thanks to Justin Whitaker for offering to take over the processing and sending out the weekly FYI.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

We’re still looking for volunteers for several Pathways Committees:

Gallery Sitting Scheduler, Press, Someone to type Commentaries, Someone to type labels for art work. Please remember that due to lack of volunteer participation, the SVAC Board had to cancel Open Studios, wouldn’t you hate to see that happen to the Fall Show???? If there isn’t more member participation, it could happen. SVAC and it’s events are only as good as it’s member volunteers.  Without them, SVAC doesn’t exist.

Got your Pathways piece finished?  Send your images for publicity use to Julee Norton-Cohen.
